Ray of Hope Summer Day Camp

Summer DAY CAMP Program

Unlike any other in Whatcom or Skagit counties, the Ray of Hope Summer Day Program is a four-week summer day program.

This program serves elementary school-age children who have experienced difficult life circumstances and exhibit emotional & behavioral issues. As a result, preventing them from assimilating into more traditional summer camps.

Kids are encouraged and empowered through outdoor recreational and physical fitness-related activities, music and arts enrichment, daily off-site field trips, and small group conversations that encourage and support positive coping skills and self-management. To ensure the success and safety of the program for all in attendance, Ray of Hope’s staff-to-child ratio is no more than 1:5.  This program is for kids who most need, yet seldom receive, a safe, supportive, and fun summer experience.

Ray of Hope runs for four consecutive summer weeks from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
